Alliteration

Alliteration, when used in a negative way, causes repetition of sounds that can create a sense of tension. For example, the repetition of ‘S’ sounds can replicate snake like sounds, making the sentence more tense for the reader.  It is repetition of an initial which makes the reader think why the writer has used that type of language.
