Rhetorical questions

Rhetorical questions are very good for building up tension as the reader is pressured into continually thinking throughout the story.  Rhetorical questions expand the sentence and will leave the reader with many unanswered questions.  Rhetorical questions don’t just leave the reader thinking but leave the story on a cliff hanger which could leave to more than one answer.
